Patsy Takemoto Mink was a Congresswoman from Hawaii from 1965-1977 and again from 1990-2002. Amongst the many issues Congresswoman Mink championed was the educational rights of low-income women and children. The Patsy Takemoto Mink Educational Foundation looks to continue her work with scholarships awarded annually to women with children looking to continue their education.
