In February, METS students from Central, Lake Region, Oxford Hills, and Searsport High Schools got a chance to attend the New England Educational Opportunity Association’s annual TRIO Day event in Burlington, VT. Highlights included Keynote Speaker Richard Haynes, college trips to Castleton University and Albany College of Pharmacy, a slew of activities, a college fair, and meeting hundreds of other like-minded students from all over New England and New York.
