The Maine
Educational Talent Search (METS) is a federal education initiative
established to encourage more young people to set high academic
expectations, stay in school, study hard, and take the courses needed
to prepare them for college-level studies.

Maine Educational Talent Search (METS)
The Maine Educational Talent
Search Project is funded entirely by the US Department of Education. The grant
award for 2007-2008 is $510,255.
