by METS
College Application Process

METS students receive many benefits including:

  • Increased awareness of their potential and how current performance and decisions help shape their future.
  • Assistance to rigorous academic courses and the support necessary to complete them.
  • Exposure to successful mentors and various occupational and postsecondary settings.
  • The information and support that will enable them to apply for and receive financial aid and scholarships from various sources.

Other activities that supplement the in-school services include:

  • Workshops for students on college campuses
  • Field trips and mentoring
  • Financial aid workshops at high schools
  • College campus visits

Advisors also meet with parents and students to discuss college plans and financial aid in order to help them file applications promptly.
