Ashley credits her METS advisor, Danielle Printz, with assisting her in many ways – keeping her organized, helping her find the right colleges, advocating for scholarships and helping Ashley maintain a steady course to a bright future. Among her many academic awards and athletic accomplishments, Ashley is especially proud of maintaining a 3.8 grade point average, being awarded a full ROTC scholarship as well as her All-State Field Hockey status. She hopes to continue with field hockey in college. Ashley believes that a college degree will affect her life in “a huge way, by experiencing many new and exciting things that I would never be able to do if I didn't attend college…. it will help me mature emotionally and mentally to become the person I want to be and to be successful in my life.”
